Bell frame taking shape

The frame which will hold the bells, being constructed at NDS Engineering in Clifton upon Teme, is well under way. The final pieces of the frame are being put together before being sent to be galvanised at Hereford Galvanizers.

Work by the Cumbria Clock Company has been successfully carried out, fitting clock hammers to the old bells. Second casting day for the bells

The second casting day took place on 16th December, attended by a large number of members of the parish plus donors Paul and Gillian Westcott and Elizabeth Prior. The four bells from the first casting could be seen in their raw state awaiting the next stage of the bell founding process.

Casting of the first bells

The first of three casting days took place on 9th December at John Taylor’s Bell Foundry in Loughborough. Viewing the procedings were donors Margaret Goodrich, Brenda Kinnear, Colin Kinnear and, representing the City of Worcester, Alan Stuttard.
